Carrot - Eyes



Did you noticed, a sliced of carrot looks like the human eye? The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye. Science now shows that carrots have many benefits to human eye. Carrot can help to improve eyesight because it is high in vitamin A essential for healthy eyes. Besides its benefits to human eye, raw carrot contains beta-carotene, a strong antioxidant that can prevent cancer. When you consume it daily, it can lower your cholesterol and blood pressure. But, if you consume too many carrots, it can produce unhealthy results too. Carotene, the pigment that gives carrots their colour, can cause Jaundice or in Malay word is "Demam Kuning". Carrot also rich in fiber and can promote colon health.
